Rescheduling games

If you or your opponent can not field a team for a game then email them asap to arrange a different day/time. You are supposed to give them at least 7 days notice.  You have to get confirmation from your team, your opponent and the home field organization (contact Watertown Field Coordinator for Watertown games and your opponent will contact their org. for their home games) who will have to obtain a field and referee (linesmen). Best to pick 3 dates, weekdays (best during your regularly scheduled practice but can be other days/times) and weekends are possibilities.

Please check the BAYS Rules book (it is on ww.bays.org Rule #9 playing the Schedule http://www.bays.org/node/47 )

If you need guidance contact Watertown Field Coordinator with this information:

Reschedule Team Division, Town, Team Name vrs. Town, Team Name from Date, Time to Date,Time.

For example:

Reschedule BU10 Div.2G, Watertown, Challenger vrs. Wayland, Rover from 7/26 9:36pm to 12/29 10:30pm.

Poll your families (and the opponents coach in the case of Holidays during the upcoming season) to see if there are any upcoming games that they will miss including Holidays. You can prepone games if you give the other team enough warning. Most coaches will try to work with you but don't wait more that 24 hours to get an answer from them. If they don't respond you should cc the Division Director so you don't have to take a forfeit if it is the other teams responsibility.

Any questions please let the Watertown Field Coordinator know.
