In Town Volunteers NEEDED!
In Town Volunteers Urgently NEEDED!
Session Volunteer Coordinators are urgently needed for the Spring 2012 program:
Ideally, several parents from each program (who are NOT coaching) will volunteer to be Session Coordinators. As you will see from the list below, soccer knowledge is NOT required to do this important job.
When the In-Town Program Coordinator is not at the field during a session the Session Coordinator(s) would be responsible for the following:
· Getting the session started on time.
· Once a session has started and in conjunction with the BSA staff, deciding to stop play due to inclement weather or poor field conditions.
· Having a set of keys to access equipment.
· Taking out and/or putting away spare soccer balls, lost and found box and first aid kit.
· Making sure goals are set up or taken down (as needed...there will be other volunteers to do this work, the coordinator just needs to make sure it is done.)
· Making sure field is clean and equipment is locked up at the end of the day (any time slot could end up being the "end of the day" if bad weather rolls in.)
